Robert "Bob" Zamorski AGE: 64 • Somerset Bob Zamorski died on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 surrounded by his family at his home in Somerset. He was 64 years old. Mr. Zamorski was born and raised in Manville and has been a resident of Franklin Township since 1973. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army reserves. He was employed for 43 years at Brystol Myers Squibb in the distribution facility in Somerset. He was the union shop steward for 13 years. Bob was a talented mechanic. Restoring and showing his works of auto restoration was one of his favorite past times. He could be found often showing his cars at the Hamilton Cruise Nights or other local car shows. He was a NASCAR fan and considered the #3 car, Dale Sr. to be his favorite driver. Bob had a tendency to play jokes on the people he held closest. He knew how to put a smile on people's faces. Bob took pride in his home, often fixing things which needed attention or tending to the yard. He was pre deceased by his parents, Edward Zamorski Sr. and Catherine (Bobnick). He was also pre-deceased by his brother, Edward Zamorski Jr. Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon (Garibaldi) Zamorski of Somerset and his loving sons, Robert Jr. (and his wife Lisa) and Jeffrey all of Somerset. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick and Michael Zamorski of Manville, Susan Basista (and her husband Gene) of Manville and Patricia Zamorski also of Manville. He is also survived by his brother in law, Frank Garibaldi and his wife Ann Marie of Boston and his beloved friends, Joseph Rossi, his neighbors and friends the Estevez, Fresnel and Sanders Family, and his dogs, Crystal and Poppy. A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 2nd at 10:30 AM at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Friends and family may visit from 9:30 AM until the start of the service.
